Objectives
This work package (WP5000) is dedicated to the deployment, validation, and compliance verification of all deliverables, including the final GOVSATCOM forecasting demonstrator. It consolidates the work from previous WPs by executing test procedures, assessing performance and consistency, and delivering finalized outputs such as the prediction model, training datasets, and documentation.
-
The main technical objectives of WP5000 – Implementation and verification of compliance are:
-
Objective 1: Deploy and validate all implemented forecasting models. CTTC, in collaboration with EUTELSAT, provides documented evidence of the successful deployment of the forecasting demonstrator and all Proof-of-Concepts, confirming operational integration.
-
Objective 2: Perform and analyze system tests. Test procedures defined in WP4000 are executed. Results are analyzed to assess the correctness, performance and limitations of the implemented solutions under representative satellite traffic scenarios.
-
Objective 3: Assess consistency and improvement of performance. The team compares predicted outputs with actual traffic behavior to evaluate forecasting consistency, propose performance improvement measures, and demonstrate added value over static resource allocation baselines.
-
Objective 4: Update compliance statements. An updated statement of compliance is issued based on implementation outcomes and testing results, documenting how well each solution meets GOVSATCOM constraints.
-
Objective 5: Deliver operational solutions. This includes the final bandwidth demand prediction model (MOD2), curated training and testing datasets (MOD3) used across PoCs and the demonstrator and a comprehensive user manual.
